STAR Seller Studio works on your phone. Your products, photos and brand kit stay on the device, and your photos are not uploaded. The one exception is AI scenes: when you start it, the photo you chose is sent to our server and to our AI provider, only to make your result. We have no ads and you never need to create an account. To know which plan you paid for, the app uses RevenueCat with a random ID. We do not sell or share personal data.
Photos you take with the camera or choose with the system photo picker, and what you type about your products and brand. They are kept in the app's own storage on this phone and saved to your photo library only when you tap Save or Export. Nothing leaves the device unless you use Share yourself, or start AI scenes (see below).
Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see your card or your Apple or Google account details. To check which plan is active, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., our subscription service provider. RevenueCat receives a random ID created by the app on your device, the store's records of your purchases in this app (plan, dates, price, currency and country), the app and system version, your language and, like any internet request, your IP address. It never receives your photos, what you type, your name or your email. We use this purchase history only to unlock your plan and to see how many people subscribe, never for advertising or tracking. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. To have your purchase history deleted, write to us with the date of the purchase.
AI scenes is optional, and the app asks for your agreement before its first use. When you start it, the app sends the photo you chose (made smaller, at most 1536 pixels) and the style you picked. It goes over an encrypted connection to our server on Google Cloud (Firebase, in the European Union), which passes it to fal.ai (Features and Labels, Inc., USA), the service that runs the AI model and returns your result. We ask fal.ai not to keep the request; the result file stays on its servers so the app can download it. We do not keep your original photo. To count your credits and stop abuse, the app signs in with an anonymous ID from Firebase Authentication (no name, email or phone), and our server keeps a record of each job: the tool, the time, the credits, that ID, your plan and the link to the result. Job records are deleted automatically after 90 days, and each anonymous ID is deleted 30 days after it was made (the app then makes a new one). We do not use your photos to train AI and we never sell them; fal.ai handles them under its own terms, which treat them as our confidential data (fal.ai/terms). Use only photos of products you sell. Results are made by AI and are marked “Made with AI” in the app.
Apart from AI scenes, all AI runs on your phone: depth for the 3D effects (Depth Anything V2 Small, Apache-2.0), object removal (MI-GAN, MIT), enhance (Real-ESRGAN, BSD-3-Clause), and subject cut-out by the phone's own system (Apple Vision on iPhone, Google ML Kit on Android) with U2-Net (Apache-2.0) as a fallback. On Android, Google Play services may download the cut-out model the first time; your photo stays on the device. The AI writer uses the language model built into your phone (Apple Intelligence on iPhone, Gemini Nano through Android AICore): your text and facts are processed on the device and are not sent to us or to anyone else; on Android the phone may download the model from Google once, handled by the system. On phones without such a model the app uses its own built-in writer. AI results can be imperfect, so check them before you publish.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you turn them on, the phone shows a reminder two days before a free trial ends and, now and then, an idea to come back to the app. They are scheduled on the phone; nothing is sent to us or anyone else. Turn them off in Settings.
Delete any creation inside the app, or use Settings > Delete all my data to remove everything the app stores, including the AI scenes records on our server. Uninstalling the app removes all of it from the phone; records on our server then expire after 90 days, or write to us to delete them sooner. Pictures you saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them.

Paid plans renew automatically every month until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The price shown in the app is the price the store charges, including any taxes it adds.
You keep all rights in the photos and videos you make. You are responsible for having the right to use the pictures you import and for following the rules of the places where you publish them.
Pictures must show the product you actually sell. Colour previews are previews: show a real photo of any colour you sell. Follow each marketplace's image and listing rules.
Paid plans include a number of AI credits each calendar month, and the free version includes five AI scenes to try. Credits reset on the first day of each month (UTC); unused credits do not carry over and have no cash value. If a job fails or its result is blocked by the safety filter, its credits are returned automatically. AI scenes needs an internet connection and may sometimes be paused or unavailable. Use only photos you have the right to use, and make sure every scene shows the product exactly as you sell it. Do not use AI scenes to deceive people, to pass yourself off as someone else, or to make sexual, violent or hateful pictures of anyone. We may limit AI scenes for anyone who misuses it.
Automatic tools can make mistakes. Check every picture and video before you publish it.
