Jigsaw Atelier: Art Puzzles has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress and your photos stay on this device. The one thing that goes to our server is the words you type in Dream a puzzle, if you use it (see below).
The app asks for your agreement before the first use. When you tap Paint, the words you typed and the style you chose go over an encrypted connection to our server on Google Cloud (Firebase, in the European Union), which passes them to fal.ai (Features and Labels, Inc., USA) to paint two pictures with the FLUX.1 schnell model. The pictures stay on fal.ai's server so the app can download them; the one you keep is stored on this phone. No photo of yours is sent. To count the three free dreams a day and stop abuse, the app signs in with an anonymous ID from Firebase Authentication (no name, email or phone), and our server keeps a record of each request: the time, that ID and the link to the pictures. Records are deleted automatically after 90 days, and each anonymous ID 30 days after it was made. Settings > Delete all my data also deletes them. We do not use your words to train AI and never sell them; fal.ai handles them under its own terms, which treat them as our confidential data (fal.ai/terms). Pictures are made by AI and marked “Made with AI”.
When you make a puzzle from your own photo, you pick it with the system photo picker. The app reads only that photo, keeps a resized copy in its own storage on this phone and never uploads it. Delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app.
The museum rooms and Studio drops are loaded from a public website we publish on GitHub Pages (public-domain pictures from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art); the app keeps a copy of the room list on this phone. Searching all of The Met sends the words you type to The Met's public Open Access service and loads the pictures from it. Those services see your device's internet address, as every website does; we receive nothing.
The Atelier Pass is sold and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card or account details. The app asks the store which subscription is active; there is no third-party subscription service.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If you turn them on, the phone shows a reminder two days before a free trial ends and, now and then, an idea to come back to the app. They are scheduled on the phone; nothing is sent to us or anyone else. Turn them off in Settings.
Settings > Delete all my data removes everything the app stores. Uninstalling the app does the same.

The Atelier Pass renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The price shown is the price the store charges.
Collection pictures are public-domain works from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Open Access program and NASA, credited on each puzzle. NASA does not endorse this app. Studio drops are our own photographs, licensed to you for use in the app. You keep all rights in your own photos and confirm you have the right to use them.
The app is provided as is. Startell Media keeps all rights in the app's design, code and original artwork.
